I am now glad to say that the managements of all three post-primary schools in Ballaghaderreen have put an agreed proposal for the amalgamation of the three schools into a co-educational secondary school to be developed by utilising St. Nathy's College buildings. I have conveyed my approval of this proposal to the three school managements concerned. The way is now clear for the progressing of plans for the new development.
