Vol. 395 No. 4

Written Answers. - Natural History Museum.

Patrick McCartan

Question:

103 Mr. McCartan asked the Minister for Finance the length of time the Natural History Museum, Dublin 2, has been closed; when it is intended that it will be re-opened to the public; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

The Natural History Museum was closed to the public at the end of July 1988. The building has been completely electrically rewired and redecorated and the timber floors have been cleaned and coated with an easily maintained surface material. The work has been completed and the building was re-opened to the public on St. Stephen's Day.
