127 Mr. Durkan asked the Minister for Education the present position regarding the provision of a sports hall at Coláiste Chiarán, Leixlip, County Kildare; if there are sufficient funds available in the current year to carry out this work; when the facility will be provided; the full extent of the proposed facility; if she will give details of the proposed schedule for the provision of the facility; and is she will make a statement on the matter.

The provision of physical education halls in community schools is dependent on the availability of capital resources and on my Department's other comitments and priorities. The facility under consideration for the school is a sports hall of 394 m2 together with changing rooms and showers.
