175 Mr. Sherlock asked the Minister for the Environment if he has received an application from Mallow Urban District Council for approval for plans to eliminate flooding in the Spa area; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

There are no proposals before my Department in relation to the scheme referred to by the Deputy. I understand, however, that the council are preparing preliminary proposals for submission to the Department.
