87 Mr. Farrelly asked the Minister for Education if plans for an extension to Longwood vocational school, County Meath, will commence in 1990; the present stage of these plans; if it is intended to allow them to go to tender in the near future; and if she will make a statement on the matter.

Architectural planning of this project has reached the working drawings stage. The rate of progress of this and other such projects is dependent on the availability of capital resources and on my Department's other commitments and priorities.
