Question:176 Mr. Spring asked the Minister for Energy if he has any plans for the privatisation of any companies or agencies under his control in 1990; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
Written Answers. - Privatisation of State Enterprises.
My Department has no specific plans for the privatisation of any companies or agencies in 1990. This does not however, preclude, subject to acceptable terms, a joint venture in respect of the oil facilities at Whitegate and/or Whiddy, should a successful development of this kind become possible in 1990 or at any other time.
