219 Mr. S. Barrett asked the Minister for Education the present position regarding the negotiations taking place between her Department and the owners of Carysfort College, Blackrock, County Dublin, to retain the buildings for educational purposes.

Discussions on this matter has recently taken place with the new owners of Carysfort. Since these discussions are ongoing it would be inappropriate for me to make any further statement in the matter at this time.
