Question:

22 Miss Quill asked the Minister for Health the rate of pay per hour for persons acting as home help in (a) the Southern Health Board region and (b) the Eastern Health Board region; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

Persons who act as home helps in the Southern and Eastern Health Board regions of the country are not paid at an hourly rate. Their rate of remuneration varies and relates to the particular circumstances involved.
