Vol. 396 No. 5

Written Answers. - Central Pharmacy.

Brian O'Shea

Question:

41 Mr. O'Shea asked the Minister for Health if he intends to arrange for the filling of the post of chief pharmacist in the Central Pharmacy based at St. James's Hospital, Dublin 8.

I understand that the post in question is filled on an acting basis at present. Arrangements to fill vacancies in approved posts, within existing resources, are a matter for the employing body or authority in the first instance. In this particular case it is a matter for consideration by the chief executive officer of the Eastern Health Board and I have no function in the matter.
