109 Mrs. T. Ahearn asked the Minister for Education if a person (details supplied) in County Tipperary who is a teacher employed in a part-time capacity for over 18 hours per week between two schools in Tipperary is entitled to prorata holiday pay, together with other entitlements; and if she will make a statement on the matter.

The question of whether the arrangements negotiated for teachers in post-primary schools and third level vocational colleges may be applied to part time teachers in special national schools is being examined. The position of the teacher in question will be considered in the light of the outcome of that examination.
