Vol. 397 No. 9

Written Answers. - Dublin Hospital Computer Facilities.

Ivan Yates

Question:

295 Mr. Yates asked the Minister for Health the precise cost of the recent installation of computer facilities at the Mater Hospital with a full break-down of the cost involved; and whether he is satisfied that this purchasing was done on a competitive basis.

The costs are shown below. The hospital already has an existing SMS-Digital system and this recent installation is an extension of that facility. In these circumstances I am satisfied that the purchasing procedures followed were appropriate.
