302 Mr. Sherlock asked the Minister for Health the present position regarding the proposed Community Nursing Unit for Killybegs, County Donegal, for which sanction has been sought from his Department by the North-Western Health Board; when it is likely that sanction will be given; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
Preliminary planning work on this project has already been completed. Further planning on this project will take place as soon as capital resources permit. I am keeping this project under review for consideration as part of the Health Capital Programme in the context of competing requirements for resources and the North-Western Health Board's priorities for capital developments.
