Vol. 398 No. 2

Written Answers. - Drung (County Donegal) School.

Patrick D. Harte

Question:

30 Mr. Harte asked the Minister for Education the reason for the delay in proceeding with the building of the new amalgamated school at Drung, County Donegal; and if, in view of the urgent need to have a new school provided to replace facilities which are intolerable and which are causing great concern to the parents, teachers and children, she will order that the school be proceeded with without further delay.

The contract for the provision of a new central national school at Drung, County Donegal was placed on 27 April 1990 and I expect that the builder will be in a position to commence operations at an early date.
