48 Mr. Kenny asked the Minister for Education if she will outline her proposals to provide a new school at St. Anthony's School for the Handicapped, Castlebar, County Mayo, in view of the very poor conditions obtaining there; and if she will make a statement on the matter.

My Department have arranged for an up-dated report on the condition of this school building. A decision on the course of action to be taken on foot of this report will be made in the context of the future role of St. Anthony's in the education of the handicapped.
