4 Mr. Deasy asked the Taoiseach if he will list the main agricultural commodities currently being imported into the EC from East European countries; and the volume of such commodities.

The latest available data on a full year basis relates to 1988 and this has been published by the Statistical Office of the European Communities. Data is also available from the same source for the period January to September 1989. I propose to circulate a statement giving this information.

Following is the statement:
