Question:137 Mr. Crowley asked the Minister for the Environment when he will give permission to allow building to commence on four houses in (a) Kanturk, (b) Charleville and (c) Newmarket, County Cork.

On 4 May, 1990 my Department conveyed approval to Cork (North) County Council to proceed to tender for the construction of four houses at Newmarket.
Plans for a six house scheme at Charleville and a four house scheme at Kanturk are at present under examination in my Department and decisions thereon will issue to the council shortly.
