Question:144 Mrs. Fennell asked the Minister for Health if residential facilities are available for a person (details supplied) in County Dublin.
Written Answers. - Residential Care for Mentally Handicapped Persons.
The provision of residential care in this case is a matter for the Eastern Health Board. The board, in conjunction with the voluntary agencies in their region are preparing a five year development plan for mental handicap services.
In the meantime my Department have asked the board to keep this case under review to ensure that this person's needs are met as soon as possible.
