Vol. 399 No. 3

Written Answers. - Tax Refund.

Ned O'Keeffe

Question:

46 Mr. E. O'Keeffe asked the Minister for Finance when a refund of tax will be made to a person (details supplied) in County Cork; if his attention has been drawn to the serious delay incurred in having this refund made; and when the tax free allowance for this person and her husband will issue, incorporating the transfer of marriage allowance.

I have been advised by the Revenue Commissioners that they require a return of income form for 1989-90, certificates of interest paid for the year and form P60 in respect of the taxpayer's wife. When these documents are lodged it will be possible to bring the tax position up to date.
