Vol. 399 No. 5

Written Answers. - Housing Completions.

Seán Ryan

Question:

50 Mr. Ryan asked the Minister for the Environment if he is concerned at the fact that the average number of dwelling completions per annum in the Dublin county area in the period 1981-86 is less than a third of the number in the period 1971-76; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

The information on which the question is based is incorrect. In fact the average number of dwelling completions per annum in the Dublin county area, including Dún Laoghaire, in the period 1971 to 1976 was 4,812 and in the period 1981 to 1986 was 4,512, including dwellings built in Dublin county by Dublin Corporation.
