98 Mr. Garland asked the Minister for Justice if his attention has been drawn to the educational farm at Abington, County Limerick; if he will consider that it be included in the new young offenders project; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
I am aware that there is a farm of the nature described in Abington, County Limerick which can be visited by groups of children from Limerick city and surrounding areas.
Any proposal to involve this farm in any way in the special project to combat crime and vandalism in Southill, Limerick which is sponsored by my Department should, I suggest, be put to the management committee of the project which, I am sure, will be prepared to consider the matter.
