Question:50 Mr. Sheehan asked the Minister for Finance when a person (details supplied) in County Cork will receive payment of a tax refund.

I have been advised by the Revenue Commissioners that the taxpayer's liability for the years 1988-89 and 1989-90 has now been finalised and a total overpayment of £866.31 has arisen. A cheque in settlement will be issued to him within the next ten days.
