177 Mr. Cotter asked the Minister for the Environment if his Department will grant aid Monaghan County Council to enable it extend the sewerage system along the Crossmaglen Road to the housing estate at Lisanisk, County Monaghan; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
This is one of a significant number of sewerage schemes submitted to my Department under the small schemes programme for 1990. Having regard to the competing demands for high priority schemes and the limited funds available for the programme, I cannot anticipate when I will be in a position to approve the scheme.
