298 Mrs. T. Ahearn asked the Minister for Education if she will outline the details of all applications for (a) new primary schools and (b) repairs, renovations and extensions to existing primary schools and post primary schools in County Tipperary; the present position regarding each application; and if she will make a statement on the matter.

The information sought by the Deputy is not readily available and its compilation would involve the deployment of staff from other more urgent duties which, in the circumstances, would not be considered warranted. I would be glad, however, to deal with any specific questions which the Deputy may have concerning any individual school in the area.
