Question:

119 Mr. Ryan asked the Minister for the Environment if he will outline in relation to the Naas by-pass project in County Kildare (a) the capital cost, including property acquisition cost, for each year of the duration of the project (b) the dates of commencement and completion of the project (c) the extent of the road improvements in terms of miles or kilometres (d) the dates and costs of land acquisition for the project (e) the cost of maintenance for each year since the completion of the by-pass (f) traffic flows on the by-pass for each year since its completion, broken down by vehicle category and time of day (g) the number of accidents each year since the by-pass was opened (h) the number of accidents each year since the by-pass was opened resulting in (1) serious injuries and (2) fatalities and (i) the number of vehicles passing through Naas town centre in each year from 1980 to 1989.
