104 Mr. McCartan asked the Minister for Labour if he will consider supporting or promoting an Irish equivalent of the Spanish exhibition Art and Work which was opened by him earlier this year; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
The Spanish Ministry of Labour and Social Security has expended a considerable amount of time and money on assembling the Art and Work collection and on exhibiting it worldwide. While I would like very much to support or promote a similar initiative on the part of this country, I am afraid that that would not be practicable because of cost and other resource considerations.
