96 Mr. Dempsey asked the Minister for Finance the number of administrative officers recruited in the Civil Service in each year between 1980 and 1990.

The total number of administrative officers recruited in the Civil Service for each of the years from 1980 to 1990, inclusive was as follows: 1980, 60; 1981, 39; 1982, 10; 1983, 8; 1984, 15; 1985, 15; 1986, 14; 1987, 9; 1988, 1; 1989, 2; 1990, 50.
