Written Answers. - Report on Stress in Nursing.
The Deputy will be aware that a report on stress in Irish nursing which was commissioned by my Department was submitted for consideration some time ago.
As is normal practice in relation to such studies, it was submitted to a process of academic refereeing. This process uncovered a number of problems which relate to the methodology employed in the study.
Having considered the matter, in full consultation with An Bord Altranais, it has been decided that, given the methodological problems referred to, publication of this report would be inappropriate.
