65 Mr. Flanagan asked the Minister for Justice if, in relation to the Departmental review of the monetary jurisdiction limits in the District, Circuit and High Courts, he expects to introduce changes consequent on the review; and if so, when.
I have initiated a review of the monetary jurisdiction limits of the District and Circuit Courts. When the review has been completed, I expect to be in a position to put proposals to Government for an increase in the present jurisdiction limits of those courts. Legislation would be required to give effect to any changes that are decided.
