83 Mr. Allen asked the Minister for Education if she proposes to appoint a full-time and permanent caretaker to St. Vincent's convent school, St. Mary's Road, Cork, which has 815 students, only one principal and is without a caretaker.

The post of caretaker in St. Vincent's Convent School fell vacant in 1987 and was subject to the embargo on the replacement of such staff. I am not, therefore, in a position to approve the appointment of a caretaker to this school.
