Question:50 Mr. McCormack asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food the number of applications received for flood damage relief grants; the numbers accepted and rejected; and the total amount of grants paid out.
Approximately 1,500 applications were received, under the 1990 flood damage relief scheme, of which 1,250 have been approved and 250 rejected. Over 1,100 payments, totalling £540,000 have been processed to date.
