161 Mrs. T. Ahearn asked the Minister for the Environment when the necessary finance will be made available to South Tipperary County Council for the provision of the Clonmel inner relief road; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
Phase 1 of the Clonmel inner relief road was opened to traffic in 1986.
The financing and phasing of major road improvement projects generally in the period to 1993 has been considered in the context of the preparation of the opertional programme on peripherality, which was approved by the EC Commission last August. This programme will be published later this week.
