187 Tomás Mac Giolla asked the Minister for Education if a person (details supplied) in County Donegal who is pursuing a foundation course at the Polytech in Liverpool, is eligible for an education grant as the course is not available in Ireland.

There is no provision under the schemes of student financial assistance provided by my Department for the award of grants in respect of courses outside Ireland.
