Question:

32 Mrs. Taylor-Quinn asked the Minister for the Marine the reason the Government have not complied with EC regulations to furnish data on fisheries on a monthly basis to the EC Commission; and the proposals which exist to comply with such regulations.

My Department is complying with EC Regulations on the furnishing of data on fish landings on a monthly basis to the EC Commission. Before the 15th of each month, it notifies the EC Commission of the quantities of all quota species landed during the preceding month.
