Question:

238 Mr. Ellis asked the Minister for Education if the same entry qualifications apply to all students entering the faculty of veterinary medicine at University College Dublin; and if the possibility of mature Irish students being allowed to enter the faculty will be considered.

It is a matter for the college authorities to determine the conditions of entry for students subject to the numerous clauses, in relation to Irish students, which applies to veterinary medicine and medicine generally.
