Vol. 404 No. 4

Written Answers. - County Kerry Arterial Drainage Funding.

Thomas McEllistrim Jnr.

Question:

146 Mr. McEllistrim asked the Minister for Finance if he will increase the financial allocation available for arterial drainage maintenance in County Kerry with specific reference to maintaining the Brick, Cashen and Maine Rivers.

Funding for the maintenance or arterial drainage schemes in County Kerry will be considered by the Office of Public Works in the context of the overall provision for this service in 1991 and their responsibilities for the maintenance of arterial drainage schemes throughout the country. Funds will be allocated from the available resources accordingly.
