Frank Crowley

Question:

170 Mr. Crowley asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food when a headage grant payment will issue to a person (details supplied) in County Cork; and the reason for the delay in having payment made.

The person named has already been paid his grants under the 1990 cattle and equines headage scheme. His application under the 1990 special beef premium scheme is being processed at present and payment will issue shortly.

171 Mr. Crowley asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food when a headage grant and pollution grant payment will issue to a person (details supplied) in County Cork; and the reason for the delay in issuing payment.

Payment to this applicant under the 1990 cattle and equines headage scheme has already been made. His payment under the 1990 special beef premium scheme is being processed and will issue shortly.

The grant due in respect of pollution control work under the farm improvement programme will issue within the next five to six weeks. This payment was delayed pending the receipt of the applicant's farm accounts for the year ended July 1989 which were not received until December 1990.

The person named is not the registered owner of the herd number quoted. The registered herdowner has already been paid grants under the 1990 cattle and equines headage schemes.

173 Mr. Crowley asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food when a sheep subsidy payment will issue to a person (details supplied) in County Cork; and the reason for the delay in issuing payment.

The 1989 and 1990 ewe premium grants and the 1990 sheep headage grant will be paid to the person named within the next two weeks. Payment was delayed because the person named quoted an incorrect herd number on his application form.
