354 Mr. R. Bruton asked the Minister for Education if her attention has been drawn to the problems being experienced by students in obtaining accommodation close to Bolton Street, Dublin 1; if she has considered the possibility of developing purpose built student accommodation on adjoining lands; and if she will make a statement on the matter.

I am aware that the College of Technology, Bolton Street, is exploring the possibility of providing student accommodation on a site near the existing college. As in the case of recent and similar developments at other colleges, such a project would be self-financing and involve the private sector.
