Question:

356 Mr. R. Bruton asked the Minister for Education if her attention had been drawn to the overcrowded conditions in the College of Technology, Bolton Street, Dublin 1, where corridors have to be used and drawing tables shared among students; and if she will make a statement on the matter.

A major new extension and refurbishment works costing £12 million have recently been completed and as a result the college had adequate accommodation. Clearly there should be no need for students to work in the corridors of the college.
