49 Mrs. Taylor-Quinn asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food if payment of a control of farmyard pollution grant will issue to a person (details supplied) in County Clare.

50 Mrs. Taylor-Quinn asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food if payment of a farm modernisation grant will now be made to a person (details supplied) in County Clare.

The application in this case was in respect of accommodation for the storage of fodder and it was on this basis that the project was approved. As the accommodation is now being used for the housing of animals the grant cannot be paid until the necessary facilities are provided for the disposal of animal waste.

51 Mrs. Taylor-Quinn asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food if a cattle headage grant payment will now be made to a person (details supplied) in County Clare.

Payment to this applicant under the 1990 cattle and equines headage scheme has already been made.

His payment under the 1990 special beef premium and suckler cow premium schemes are being processed and will issue shortly.

The person named has already been paid his grants under the 1990 cattle and equines headage and suckler cow premium schemes. He is not an applicant under the 1990 special beef premium scheme.
