Vol. 404 No. 7

Written Answers. - National Lottery Funding.

Richard Bruton

Question:

174 Mr. R. Bruton asked the Minister for Health the total amount of national lottery funds which will be available for spending in the health area during 1991; and the way in which this money will be distributed between different services.

To date the health allocation from national lottery proceeds in 1991 amounts to £16,890,000; £5,090,000 of this will be expended on the capital programme and the balance on grants to health agencies and other similar organisations. I am not yet in a position to supply a precise breakdown of how this balance will be distributed between the different agencies.
