181 Mr. Carey asked the Minister for Education if she has finalised arrangements for the necessary in service course which the teachers require for the new junior certificate; and if she will outline the date of commencement of this course.
Inservice training for teachers in connection with the junior certificate programme will, as heretofore, be provided on an ongoing basis. Arrangements are being finalised for an inservice course in mid-February and it is proposed to provide a further course before the end of the current term.
