Vol. 404 No. 9

Written Answers. - Grant Payments.

Jimmy Deenihan

Question:

104 Mr. Deenihan asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food when a cattle headage grant payment will be made to a person (details supplied) in County Kerry.

This applicant has been deemed ineligible for grants under the 1989 cattle and equines headage and suckler cow premium schemes because he did not present any animals for inspection.

Under the 1990 cattle schemes, he has been requested to forward his cattle identity cards and details of land owned and when he does so the question of payment of grants to him under those schemes will be considered further.
