Question:187 Mr. Bell asked the Minister for the Environment when he will give sanction to the closing of the alley-way at Scarlet Crescent, Pearse Park, Drogheda, County Louth, as decided by Drogheda Corporation.
Written Answers. - Drogheda Alley-Way Closure.
Drogheda Corporation's proposal to extinguish the right of way between Pearse Park and Scarlet Crescent was received in my Department on 11 January 1991. Further documentation was requested and this was received on 7 February 1991. Since there are objections to the proposed extinguishment, it will be necessary to hold an oral hearing. I will make my decision as quickly as possible after I receive the inspector's report on the oral hearing.
