Vol. 404 No. 9

Written Answers. - Appointment of Dermatologist.

Gerry Reynolds

Question:

189 Mr. G. Reynolds asked the Minister for Health if he will have a dermatologist provided on a permanent basis to Sligo General Hospital and the North-Western Health Board area.

I understand that the development of dermatology services is being considered by the North-Western Health Board in the context of the future development of services at Sligo General Hospital. Any proposal from the board on this matter will be considered as sympathetically as possible in the context of the many competing demands for resources and the board's priorities for new developments.
