Adjournment Debate Matters.

I wish to advise the House of the following matters in respect of which notice has been given to me under Standing Order 20 (3) (a) and the name of the Member in each case: (1) Deputy Therese Ahearn — The delay in the establishment of the sanctioned resource centre in Cashel, County Tipperary; (2) Deputy Cotter — The proposed extension in the number of free legal aid centres in the context of the existing service; (3) An Teachta MacFhionnlaoich — An Ghéar-Chéim Dí-Fhostaíochta i nGaeltacht Iar-Dheiscirt Dhún na nGall de bharr dúnadh monarcan "Eadai Chonnamara" mar choill 53 duine a bpostanna; (4) Deputy Richard Bruton — The issue of whether the new Government Buildings are accessible to a fire engine fitted with a turntable ladder and whether the restoration work has generally complied with fire regulations; (5) Deputy Kenny — The question of authorisation for phase two of Castlebar General Hospital, County Mayo; (6) Deputy Fennell — The imbalance in lottery funding as between Irish girl guides who received £5,500 and scouting organisations which received £330,000 in 1990; (7) Deputy Nealon — The refusal of the Department of the Environment to provide full funding for the repair of defective chimneys in certain category local authority houses in Cranmore Estate, Sligo, and the unfair conditions being imposed by the Minister where full funding is provided; (8) Deputy Moynihan — The dispute between the Office of Public Works and the Flesk Valley rowing club regarding the threat of eviction by the Office of Public Works from their boathouse; (9) Deputy Sherlock — The reported proposals to close the Post Office in Bartlemy, County Cork; (10) Deputy Rabbitte — The decision of the Department of Health not to proceed with the construction of the long promised Tallaght Regional Hospital in 1991; (11) Deputy Gilmore — The exclusion of Dún Laoghaire harbour from the operational programme on peripherality; (12) Deputy Garland — The serious public disquiet which has been caused by the publication of the Stag report on the disappearance of sea trout from south Mayo and Connemara and the serious implications which this has for our salmon farming industry and the inadequate response by the Department of the Marine and (13) Deputy Deenihan — The crisis of homeless youth in Dublin and throughout the country.

I have selected for discussion the matters raised by the following Deputies: An Teachta MacFhionnlaoich, Deputy Richard Bruton and Deputy Rabbitte.
