Question:

30 Mr. Davern asked the Minister for Education when she will finalise the results of the investigation of allegations and complaints by persons (details supplied) in County Tipperary regarding incidents which resulted in the withdrawal of their children from a national school (details supplied) in County Kilkenny; and if she will outline the reason for the delay in finalising this investigation.

The Deputy will appreciate that investigations of this nature must be treated in a very delicate manner and it is necessary to ensure that all the available evidence is thoroughly examined before any decision is taken. The investigation is proceeding and will be concluded as quickly as possible.
