Question:

308 Mr. Ferris asked the Minister for Health when he will announce a revision of the income guidelines for medical cards due since 1 January, 1991; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

Guidelines for issue of medical cards are reviewed towards the end of each year. The relevant guidelines for 1991 were circulated in December 1990 and came into effect on 1 January, 1991.

The following are the current guidelines.
