Question:136 Mr. E. O'Keeffe asked the Minister for Finance the reason for the delay in having a civilian pension issued to a person (details supplied) in County Cork.

The PMG's office issued this cheque to the pensioner in the normal way at the end of January. When the pensioner informed the PMG that he had not received the cheque, the cheque was cancelled and a replacement cheque issued.
