71 Mr. Kenny asked the Minister for Energy if he has considered applications for wind generator farms in County Mayo; if he has approved any such wind farm; if he will outline the price per unit/therm upon which any such approval has issued; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

A number of proposals, in respect of locations in County Mayo and elsewhere, for the establishment of a wind farm in Ireland, are being considered by my Department. I expect to have the recommendation of the assessment team who are evaluating these proposals shortly.
