77 Mr. J. O'Keeffe asked the Minister for the Environment whether his attention has been drawn to the urgent need for a feasibility study of Clonakilty Bay, County Cork, because of the serious flooding in the town of Clonakilty and district; and if he will now sanction and approve this feasibility study to commence immediately.

A proposal for the feasibility study referred to has been submitted to my Department by Cork County Council. I am considering at present whether it is appropriate for financing from my Department.
